“Boots to Business: Reboot” an Entrepreneurial Training Program for Veterans
Join us for “Boots to Business: Reboot”, a two-day entrepreneurial class that will introduce veterans to business ownership. Each class, taught by an SBA Representative/ SBA Resource Partner, will educate veterans on business fundamentals and guide them through an initial feasibility analysis of their business concepts.
The “Boots to Business: Reboot” program was funded by the SBA and developed at the Syracuse University Institute For Veteran and Military Families (IVMF) to assist U.S. military veterans in exploring entrepreneurship as a career option.
Following the two-day training course, participants will also be eligible to register for the Syracuse University “Foundations of Entrepreneurship” course. This online eight week instructor led course offers in-depth explanation on the elements of a business plan plus techniques and tips for starting a business.
After completing “Boots to Business: Reboot”, participants will have the tools and knowledge they need to identify a business opportunity, draft a business plan, connect with local small business resources (such as SBDCs and SCORE) and launch their small businesses.
