Kemmiko "Kem" Grant
With a proven track record of driving small business success, Kemmiko (Kem) Grant serves as the Interim Director of the Tarrant SBDC, bringing more than five years of experience as a Business Advisor specializing in strategic business development, financial guidance, and community engagement. In 2024 & 2025, Kem advised 390 clients, exceeding performance expectations and facilitating over $15.2 million in capital infusion. Her ability to identify and nurture high-potential entrepreneurs contributed to two SBA award-winning clients, further solidifying her leadership in small business advisory.
As Interim Director, Kem is recognized for her proactive and results-driven leadership, spearheading initiatives such as facility improvements, operational enhancements, and expanded community outreach. She has cultivated a strong network of more than 51 lending partners, ensuring entrepreneurs have access to critical resources and capital. Through representation at key regional and state-level events, she continues to strengthen partnerships that advance the mission and impact of the Tarrant SBDC.
